X-Mas factor finalists take the stage this Saturday

The X-Mas Factor singing competition underway at the annual Vancouver Christmas Market has reached its much-anticipated Finale. On Saturday, December 22nd, visitors and media alike are invited to the Market on the Plaza at Queen Elizabeth Theatre to watch some of the Lower Mainland’s hottest future stars sing their interpretations of classic holiday tunes.

The X-Mas Factor competition has seen contestants compete every Friday during the Vancouver Christmas Market (November 24 – December 24) to reach the Finale. Only one will win the coveted grand prize from Studio Cloud 30 Entertainment and their affiliated sponsors (Jamie Kuse of Creativ Studios, Widejko Photography, Fashion Designer Carlie Wong, BigChip Media, and Invasion Media). Valued at over $5,000, the grand prize will be focused on moving the finalist’s musical career forward, and will include artist development, social media startup, graphic design, a photo shoot, styling by a Vancouver fashion designer, and a fully mixed and mastered recording of a song of the winner’s choice.

The goal of the competition is to find a talented individual who can take a holiday favourite and reinvent it in his or her own style, with originality and interpretation being the key factors. Come at 5:00pm to watch a beautiful performance by celebrated R&B recording artist Warren Dean Flandez, founder of Studio Cloud 30 Entertainment, and stay to cheer on the contestants in the X-Mas Factor Finale beginning at 6:00pm.
