Gordon Alex David, suspect in Sunday’s domestic-related homicide in Surrey, arrested

GORDON Alex David, also known as Alex David, 34, a suspect in last Sunday’s domestic-related homicide in a home near 140th Street and 94th Avenue, was arrested on Tuesday by Vancouver Police patrol officers without incident, while walking on Granville Street in Vancouver, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team announced on Wednesday.

Police were called to the home just before noon last Sunday (May 10) where they found two people injured.  A woman later succumbed to her injuries. She has been identified as 23-year-old Cady Quaw, the spouse of David.

A second woman found in the residence was transported to hospital but is in stable condition.  The identity of this woman will not be released.

David faces charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault.
