One year later, Luv Randhawa’s newest single, “Dhol Te” translated to, “On the Drums,” has hit to No. 1 on the iTunes World Music Chart in Canada on the very first day of its release, December 6, 2012. Featuring a high level of musicianship, the song sees Luv Randhawa’s rugged voice combine with a number of hugely North American talented artists, which includes the likes of Inder Kooner (En Karma lead singer), Raju Johal, Gagan Sharma and music carefully masterminded by Nick Chowlia, from En Karma. In early 2012, Luv Randhawa established the charity, “Luv for Humanity,” an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of everyday people. Partial proceeds from the sales of his single “Dhol Te” and performance earnings go to the charity. “Music has always been a constant in my life, and my charity, ‘Luv for Humanity’ is a perfect example of me giving back through my passion with the support of my fans worldwide,” says Randhawa.

Luv Randhawa remains steadfast for his love of Punjabi music. He is an artist of truly exceptional virtuosity and creativity and someone who takes over the stage, captivating audiences with his personality and high-energy performances. Luv Randhawa’s style of music can be described as a world collaboration of all sounds. “Dhol Te” is a great introduction to his upcoming album titled, “Luv My World”. The Urban Bhangra theme is at its strongest in this track but will run in varying degrees throughout the entire album, taking in Vancouver, UK and India influences along the way.
