“Understanding Dementia” workshop to be presented in Punjabi & English

South Asian families in the Fraser Region can connect with Baljeet Judge – First Link Support and Education Coordinator for South Asian communities, through the South Asian Dementia Helpline (604-449-5003) to receive information and support.

There is an upcoming “Understanding Dementia” workshop to be presented in Punjabi & English for people experiencing early symptoms of dementia, as well as their family members or friends. Individuals will learn how dementia affects the brain and behaviour as the disease progresses and the impact it has on the individual, caregivers and families.

Date: January 20 @ 9:30 a.m. – noon (Free admission, donations appreciated)
