TWO men in their 20s are in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in south Vancouver just before 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Vancouver Police said the two men were in a parking lot in an industrial area at East Kent Avenue South near Borden Street when they were shot. They were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police didn’t say anything about arrests, but CTV showed some suspects being taken in for questioning.

Later, a burned-out vehicle was found in Burnaby.

Investigators believe that the shootings were targeted and that there is no reason to believe the public is at risk. They are asking anyone who may have information about this incident to call 604-717-2541.
