Two pedestrians seriously hurt as two vehicles collide at Surrey intersection

ON Saturday at approximately 6:35 p.m., an Acura and a Ford collided in the intersection of 148th Street and Fraser Highway, causing one of the vehicles to strike two pedestrians in the area.

Both pedestrians, a 50-year-old male, and a 50-year-old female, were transported to a local area hospital in serious condition.

Both drivers remained on scene and are cooperating with police.

Surrey RCMP say alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been factors in this collision. The incident is still under investigation which is being led by the Surrey RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team.
