SHORTLY after 2:30 a.m. on Monday (April 30), Richmond RCMP responded to a residence in the 6600-block of Eckersley Road after a report of gunfire.
Officers located two dead victims within the residence. The deaths do not appear to be random, Richmond RCMP said.
The area surrounding the scene will be cordoned off for a significant amount of time pending this investigation.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been contacted and has taken conduct of this investigation. IHIT will be working with in close partnership with the Richmond RCMP.
