Three males stabbed in Whistler, three male suspects from Lower Mainland known to police arrested

WHISTLER RCMP are investigating a serious assault in the village stroll area of Whistler which resulted in three persons being stabbed.

On Monday (February 11), at approximately 2:30 a.m., Whistler RCMP responded to a report of a fight and stabbing in the 4200-block of Village Square.

Officers learned that several bystanders tried to break up the fight. During the attempt to
stop the assault, three males suffered stab wounds. All three male victims were transported to local area hospitals. Two males are in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries. One victim is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.

Whistler RCMP officers quickly identified and arrested three individuals in relation to this event. The three male suspects in their early 20’s reside in the Lower Mainland and are
known to police. The suspects are being held in custody at this time.

Police say the investigation is still in its very early stages and continues to evolve. The investigators are appealing for the public’s help to identify any witnesses or provide any video evidence that they may have taken.
