TEAM Izzat’s 11th Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Classic takes place on Saturday, April 11 at Delta’s Seaquam Secondary School at 11584 Lyon Road from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
There will be four categories: Boys Division 1 (Grades 7-9); Boys Division 2 (Grades 10-12); Girls (Grades 7-10); and 3 point Shootout (18 and under).
There will be a minimum of three and a maximum of five per team. Applications must be received by April 5.
There is free entry – and you also get a free T-shirt and free pizza.

SGT. Sunner is the founder of Team Izzat, a non-profit organization, whose volunteers work with youth through sports and education programs.
Izzat means respect and honour in several South Asian languages. Team Izzat was established in 2004 and have been involved in numerous programs such as annual basketball tournaments, an awards dinner, building a playground, mentor programs at high schools and other outreach efforts, all on their free time. In 2010, they held a youth forum at Surrey’s Bell Center on youth and drugs in the Lower Mainland, and child exploitation.
