India’s sweetheart couple, celebrity choreographer, Bollywood hit singers, and award-winning performers at Diwali at Times Square on Saturday

EVENTGURU and Sankara Eye Foundation are announcing the glitterati-filled lineup for Diwali at Times Square 2017 Light Up Times Square Concert. This year’s strings of performers included the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
Sanjeeda Sheik, currently staring on Love Ka Hai Interzaar and famous for her roles in hit shows like Ek Hasina Thi and Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Ka, is coming together with her husband, the famous actor Amir Ali, to perform at the heart of NYC. The couple that has swept India away with their romance will show the audience that they didn’t win the Season 3 of Nach Baliye for nothing.
You can also count on being blown away by India’s leading choreographer, dancer and TV judge. He introduced a new style of dance, Indo-Contemporary to India, using his background in Indian dance and Bollywood with contemporary techniques. Terrance Lewis is the only Indian member of the UNESCO International Dance Council (CID – Conseil International de la Danse). Lewis will perform live at the biggest platform of the world – Times Square just for you.
Diwali at Time Square lineup also features talented singers with famous hit songs that will get the whole crowd singing along. Most famously known for singing with Akon the hit song Chammak Chalo for Sharukh Khan movie Ra-One, Hamsika Iyer promises to involve the audience and move us all with her powerful voice. To keep the audience dancing, we have no one else but the singer behind “Heyy Babyy”s title song, as well as hit songs from hit movies like “RockOn” and “Tare- Zameen Par”, Raman Mahadevan. His deep and enchanting voice combined with his charismatic personality are bound to mesmerize us all. Last but definitely not least, America-based Urban-Desi artist Mickey Singh is hitting the stage to fire up the crowd as he did at his last appearance at the NBA half-time show. Known for his swag and urban style, Singh is sure to leave the female crowd swooning.
The festival will also features many local talents – our own 13-year-old Sparsh Shah who touched millions of hearts with his voice and positive attitude towards life, left a crowd in tears with his stunning rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” before a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden this year. You must have seen Sparsh in “Little Big Shots” with Mr Steve Harvey.Sparsh has severe Osteogenesis imperfecta (or brittle bone syndrome), Despite having fractured bones 130 times in his life, the resilient teen says “nothing can break my spirit — or stop me from singing.”
We will also witness performances from Shiamak USA, Satrangi Dance Academyas well as many other dance clubs universities, and performing artists. All this and much more on Diwali at Times Square on October 7 from 2-9 p.m. without any tickets. A day to celebrate the colors of Indian culture and its heritages. A beautiful arrangement of dance, food, art and music that will light up times square brighter than ever before.
