Surrey RCMP investigating sudden death in Newton

SURREY RCMP said on Monday they are investigating a sudden death after a dead woman was located at a residence in Newton.

On July 7 at approximately 7 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a call for service at a residence in the 13600-block of 60th Avenue. Police located a dead woman inside the residence.

Surrey RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit and the BC Coroner’s Services are investigating. The cause of death is still under investigation and a determination has not been made as to whether the death is a result of criminality.
