Surrey hosts 7th Annual Fusion Festival this weekend

color2 NewJOIN Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts along with representatives from 40 nations for music, food and culture, at Surrey’s 7th annual Fusion Festival this weekend in Holland Park.

Date: Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20

Time: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. both days

Opening ceremonies and parade: Saturday at 4 p.m.

Location:  Holland Park, southwest corner of King George Boulevard and Old Yale Road

The 2014 Fusion Festival entertainment line-up includes Canadian musician and Hall of Fame inductee Bruce Cockburn. Also appearing are Juno nominees Hey Ocean!, The Boom Booms, and indie folk darling Aidan Knight.

Admittance to Fusion Festival, concerts and entertainment are free to the public.
