THE Surrey Community Hub has launched a new website to connect with residents and business, and gather ideas about Surrey priorities and events.

“I have continually advocated for open, accessible and inclusive dialogue between the City and the people we serve. I believe we need to engage people on their terms – their schedule, and the conversations should be driven by the community,” said Councillor Barinder Rasode, who launched the Surrey Community Hub office on June 7.

“I know that not everyone has the time to connect in person. So, we launched the Online Community Hub as a new way to hear from people and open up the channels of communication. The goal is to turn dialogue into action and help build an even stronger Surrey.”

Over the coming weeks the website will host online surveys, town hall events and other initiatives to gather ideas and feedback.
