Shooting in Whalley area of Surrey

SURREY RCMP are investigating a shooting in the Whalley area of Surrey.

At approximately 4 p.m. on Friday, July 19, police responded to a report of shots fired in the 12700-block of King George Boulevard. Police say they located evidence that confirmed that shots had been fired.  

Initial reports indicate that a white-coloured car was seen driving away from the area at a high rate of speed.
Officers are conducting neighbourhood canvassing and speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this is a targeted incident. 

Surrey RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed this indent, observed a white-coloured car fleeing from the area, or have dash cam video to call them at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers in reference to Surrey File # 2019-000878.
