Shooting in Vancouver’s Oppenheimer Park leaves one man injured

VANCOUVER Police are investigating a shooting in Oppenheimer Park, which sent one man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were called to the park just after 5:30 p.m. and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital.

Police deployed a number of resources to the park to ensure the safety of the residents.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available.
