Shooting in South Surrey

SURREY RCMP are investigating after receiving reports in the early morning hours of Friday of shots being fired in South Surrey.

On October 5 at approximately 1 a.m., Surrey RCMP received multiple reports of shots fired in the 3300-block of 194th Street with two vehicles seen fleeing the area. Investigators attended the area and located evidence of a shooting having occurred.

Around the same time, police were also made aware of a vehicle on fire in a nearby intersection of 28th Avenue and 188th Street. This vehicle was seized as part of the investigation.
