Serious motor vehicle collision in South Surrey (update)

UPDATE:

Surrey RCMP’s Collision Investigation Team and the Integrated Collision Analysis Response Section have completed their on-scene investigative activities and road closures on 152nd Street between Colebrook Road and 40th Avenue are no longer in effect.

ROAD closures are currently in effect as a result of a serious motor vehicle collision in South Surrey.

On Tuesday, shortly before 9 a.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a collision involving two vehicles near the intersection of 152nd Street and 44th Avenue.  The drivers of both vehicles were seriously injured in the collision and have been transported to hospital. The driver of one of the vehicles sustained potentially life-threatening injuries.

Surrey RCMP’s Collision Investigation Team and the Integrated Collision Analysis Response Section will be investigating the collision.  As such, there will be a road closure in effect on 152nd Street between Colebrook Road and 40th Avenue in both directions. These closures are expected to remain in place for several hours.
