Save-On-Foods Cloverdale opens in-store wine department

All wines sold at Save-On-Foods are B.C. VQA

SAVE-ON-FOODS Cloverdale is the latest grocery store in the province to add B.C. VQA wine to its shelves, giving customers the convenience of picking up a locally-made, high-quality bottle of wine under the same roof as the ingredients for their meals.
Save-On-Foods Cloverdale, located at 17745 64th Avenue, officially opened its wine department at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 19. The store is the 17th Save-On-Foods to partner with the B.C. Wine Institute to carry more than 900 varieties of 100-per-cent British Columbian wine from more than 160 wineries.

“Adding B.C. VQA wine to our shelves gives our customers more choices, supports our local wine producers, and provides a convenience to pick up a high-quality bottle of wine at the same time as customers are shopping for groceries,” said Save-On-Foods President Darrell Jones. “We are so proud to offer our customers this service while supporting the fantastic winemakers of our province.”
