RICHMOND RCMP say there have been no injuries reported after shots were fired on Tuesday morning at a vehicle on the 8400 block of Garden City Road in Richmond. The shooting happened at approximately 9:30 a.m.

A black sport-utility vehicle was seen leaving the area.

At this point little is known about what occurred. Richmond RCMP serious crimes unit is on scene along with the Forensic Identification Unit gathering evidence. A/Corporal Dennis Hwang, Richmond Media Relations Officer, said: “At this time no suspect has been identified, however this does not appear to be a random act.”
