THE Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is seeking public assistance to further its investigation into the homicide of 37-year-old Michael Thompson of Richmond who was known to police.

On September 20, just after 8:30 a.m., the Richmond RCMP responded to an abandoned residence in the 9000-block of Odlin Road after a man’s body was discovered inside the building. The man’s death was deemed suspicious and IHIT was called in to take conduct of the investigation.
