Punjabi Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Surrey; attendees from all across Canada

JEHOVAH’S Witnesses have organized a three-day educational conference to be held entirely in the Punjabi language.  The theme of courage will be highlighted, and the important role this quality plays in these critical times at school, at work, and when tragedy strikes.  This conference will be held at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Surrey during the July 27 weekend.

Lectures, interviews, and real-life experiences will help the audience learn practical ways in which they can face present and future challenges with courage.  There will be numerous presentations and video segments that will show the audience how they can use Bible principles to build courage to face today’s chaotic world.

For those that have lost dear loved ones in death, the public discourse on Sunday morning will provide much comfort with the theme: “The Resurrection Hope Imparts Courage—How?”

On Sunday afternoon there will be a gripping feature-length film presentation showing that even a faithful person can fall victim to fear.  See what caused Jonah to fear his assignment from God and run away.

The conference theme is “Be Courageous!” On Friday, attendees will be taught the important difference between courage weakeners, and courage strengtheners.  For our young people and parents especially, the effect that bad association can have versus good association will be clearly explained.

Everyone is welcome. There is no admission charge and no collection will be taken.

To that end, starting in July, and continuing for the following three weeks, Jehovah’s Witnesses will extend personal invitations to as many Punjabi people as possible to attend the convention with them.

Across Canada, Jehovah’s Witnesses will host 52 conventions in 29 locations and in 16 languages. The projected attendance in Canada this summer is 150,000.

Location: Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 15577 82nd Avenue, Surrey, BC.

Convention Schedule: From Friday to Sunday, July 27 – 29.
