Police in Quebec looking for potential victims of Sergei Klenovski in B.C.

THE Équipe intégrée de lutte contre le proxénétisme (EILP) arrested Sergei Klenovski on Monday, January 27 for allegedly engaging in the sexual exploitation of a 20-year-old woman. The investigators say they have reasons to believe this alleged pimp might have other victims in Québec and British Columbia.

Klenovski appeared on Tuesday at the Montréal Courthouse to answer eight counts, including human trafficking, procuring, sexual assault, threats and use of a weapon.

Klenovski is 24 years old. He is 1.75 m (5’9’’) tall, weighs 68 kg (150 lbs) and has chestnut hair.

Anyone who may have been a victim or knows a potential victim of Klenovski is asked to visit their local police station or call 9-1-1 to file an official complaint or make a statement.

The Équipe intégrée de lutte contre le proxénétisme is a joint investigation unit of police forces working together to fight networks involved in the procurement and human trafficking for sexual exploitation at the interregional, interprovincial and international levels.
