Peel Regional Police seeks public’s assistance in robbery investigation involving South Asian suspect

MISSISSAUGA: Investigators from the Central Robbery Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in relation to a robbery that occurred at a Money Direct business in Mississauga.

On Monday, March 23, the victim was working as a teller at the Money Direct located at 350 Burnhamthorpe Road East in Mississauga. At approximately 8 p.m. a male entered the business and made a demand for money.  The victim was unable to comply and the suspect fled on foot without any money.

The male suspect is described as being South Asian, 5’9” tall with a medium to heavy build and facial hair.  He was wearing dark clothing.
