Ontario’s Peel Police investigate the region’s 9th homicide of 2014

 

Brampton –Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating Peel Region’s ninth homicide of 2014. 

On Monday, November 10 at approximately 10 p.m., police attended the area of Yellow Avens Boulevard, Brampton, in response to a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival, police located two males who had sustained gunshot injuries.  One victim, a 20 year-old Brampton resident, was taken to hospital, where he received treatment for non-life threatening gunshot injuries and released.  The second male succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Collins Kwarteng, a 22-year-old Brampton resident.
