January 23, 1929 to October 8, 2018

Poet and literary writer, son of the late Mohan Singh and Bachan Kaur Rampuri and husband of the late Surjit Kaur Rampuri of Rampur village in Ludhiana district, passed away peacefully on October 8 at the age of 89 in his adopted home, Canada. He will be remembered by his children Devinder Kaur Bhango, Harmohinder Kaur Bhango, Jasbir Singh Rampuri and Ravinder Singh Rampuri, along with his grandchildren, extended family and dear friends and colleagues.

His funeral service will be held on Monday, October 15 at 1 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home at 7410 Hoppcott Road, Delta (Phone: 604-940-1313). Bhog will follow at 3 p.m. at Vancouver’s Akali Singh Sikh Society Gurdwara.
