ON Sunday (January 7), at approximately 12:25 a.m., Surrey RCMP and paramedics located a male in distress in the 17800-block of 64th Avenue in the Cloverdale area of Surrey. The male later died and police suspect foul play. The investigation has been turned over to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.

Police says that although it is early in the investigation, the incident does not appear to be a random act.

Portions of 64th Avenue were closed as a result of the investigation. Police are currently in the evidence gathering phase.
