“It was a great to celebrate this wonderful season of giving and goodwill with family and friends of Calgary Northeast,” said Shory. “The Christmas season is a time for families to rejoice in the blessings of the past year and the promises that the New Year will bring.”
With the largest turnout ever, many residents of Calgary Northeast from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds celebrated the Christmas season by attending Shory’s Christmas Open House. Many of them brought food donations to help families in need. The Christmas Open House was held this year again at the Falconridge/Castleridge Community Centre.
“I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas Season and a Happy New Year on behalf of the Shory family. I want thank those who brought food donations to help families in need. I also want to encourage everyone during this season to remember those serving us at home and around the world and who promote and protect our Canadian values and freedoms that we enjoy each and every day,” said Shory.
