Mississauga psychologist arrested for sexual assault, police search for additional victims

INVESTIGATORS from the Ontario’s Peel Regional Police’s Special Victims Unit have arrested a Mississauga psychologist in relation to an historical sexual assault investigation and are seeking possible additional victims.

Dr. Vincent Hung Lo, a psychologist since 1989,was arrested on Wednesday, October 1 by investigators from the Special Victims Unit.  He has been charged with three counts of sexual assault in relation to offences dating back to 2001.  The alleged victims were patients being treated by Lo when he practiced out of Credit Valley Hospital, 2200 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga, and at a private practice located at 2318 Dunwin Drive, Suite 3, Mississauga.

Lo will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brampton on Monday, November 3.

Investigators are concerned that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, and ask any potential victims to contact police.
