KHALSA School Mission says the driver of one of their school buses that was involved in an accident in Abbotsford in which a seven-year-old student was run over has been fired after an investigation.

Meanwhile, the boy is in intensive care at BC Children’s Hospital and it might take months for him to recover, according to CTV that interviewed some neighbours.

Abbotsford Police Constable Ian MacDonald told The VOICE on Monday: “The investigation is ongoing, but no charges have yet. Our collision reconstruction has been our lead investigator. It’s still very much in the midst of that investigation.”
