Man shot in Surrey in targeted hit

SURREY RCMP are currently on scene following a shooting in the Guildford area of 13200-block and 104th Avenue of Surrey.

On November 10 at 11:49 a.m., police received a report from the public of shots fired. Police found a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot injuries. The victim was transported to a hospital for medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say based on the initial information, the incident appears to be targeted.

The Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit will have conduct of the investigation.

The area surrounding the scene will be cordoned off for a significant amount of time.

Officers are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for further information and evidence. More details will be released as they become available.
