VANCOUVER Police are investigating a shooting near Main Street that claimed the life of a man in his 30s on Tuesday night.

Police were called to the area of Main and East 35th Avenue around 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday for reports of a shooting at an apartment building. Officers entered the residence and discovered an adult male who was dead from a gunshot wound.

Police have arrested a 30-year-old Vancouver man in connection to the offence. The investigation is ongoing.

This is Vancouver’s fifth homicide of 2019.
