ELITE Auto Spa, formerly known as Krystal Clear Car Wash, is organizing a car wash fundraiser for local charity Make-A-Wish BC and Yukon on Sunday, August 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 9215 Scott Road.

The community has been a tremendous support system for this local business over the years and they have gained many loyal customers. For this reason, Elite Auto Spa would like to give back to the community by fulfilling the wish of a child facing a life-threatening medical condition.

“We are so grateful when businesses like Elite Auto Spa offer their support in helping us make dreams come true.  Not only will this fun event help raise much needed funds so that we can grant more magical wishes, but it will also help us raise awareness in our community. Wishes change lives,” said Kelly Snyder, Manager of Special Events, Make-A-Wish BC and Yukon.

The goal of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Make-A-Wish BC and Yukon was the first Canadian chapter and the first chapter outside of the United States.  Since 1983, they have granted over 1,600 wishes for children in our region.

“We chose Make-A-Wish as our charity because when we looked at most organizations, all of the funds raised usually goes towards research and other things.  It’s hard to track what the donations are actually used for.  With Make-A-Wish, we will actually be able hear about the child or children we have helped by granting their dream wish.  Our minimum goal is to raise $7,000 and with help from the community, we hope to make many more wishes come true,” said Vijay Sandhu, co-owner, Elite Auto Spa.

The entire community is invited to get their cars washed at the high end facility (by donation), and enjoy delicious food and beverages, musical entertainment, kid’s activities and much more.
