LifeLabs relocates to Surrey’s health and technology district

LIFELABS on Monday celebrated the grand opening of its newly relocated collection site in Surrey by hosting a ribbon-cutting and celebration in the Surrey City Centre 2 on 9639 137A Street.

The new location is located across from Surrey Memorial Hospital and adjacent to the Surrey Urgent and Primary Care Centre in Surrey’s expanding Health and Technology District.

Joined by Surrey-Whalley MLA Bruce Ralston, patients, employees, and community members celebrated the relocation that will support the patient experience.

“We’re excited to be a part of the rapidly growing infrastructure in Surrey,” said Jennifer Cudlipp, Senior Vice President, British Columbia, LifeLabs. “With our close proximity to the additional medical facilities in the area, we are pleased to support this community and save time for patients who will be able to get all their medical needs resolved in one location.”

The location also features the Save My Spot app, in addition to online appointment booking, which allows patients to check-in before they arrive. Once they save their spot, they can wait where they want and head to the LifeLabs location when it’s almost their turn. This service is available from the Save My Spot app or at www.LifeLabs.com

The collection centre also offers cardiology testing (electrocardiograms) and staff are trained to use specialty developed protocols to serve patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
