The Infiniti Q70 is indeed, the flagship sedan of the entire Infiniti lineup. What was previously missing perhaps was a long-wheelbase model that could be found from the likes of Lexus, Jaguar and BMW. Fittingly the issue has been resolved, now that Infiniti has introduces the longer Q70L version it remains one of the most elegant, powerful. And refined of large sport sedans. The new extended-wheelbase Q70L model offers an extra 5.9 inches of legroom and a best-in-class 32.4 inches of knee room, as well as larger rear doors with an auto-closing feature. One you get in the amount of legroom back there is very noticeable. The 2015 Q70L is a beautiful looking car inside and out with a number of changes to differentiate it. There is a new headlight design and redesigned 3-Dimensional look to the grille to compliment the new front Fascia. A combination of sleek voluptuous- yet tightly styled contours across the body join and coalesce into a tidy rear end with new LED rear lights.
The interior is- as you would expect magnificent, with acres of rich dark leather, sumptuous Japanese Ash wood trim and space…Oh so much space with VIP levels of comfort including heated rear seats, extra reading lamps, and a 12V power outlet. Equipment levels, whichever model you buy are very high. Our tester was a 2015 Hermosa Blue 5.6 liter Q70L with all the options and trimming priced at $68,400. The safety equipment list, like the interior spec is very impressive, and includes dual front, side, and curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes’ active headrests; stability and traction control; a rearview camera; and parking sensors. Dynamic cruise control, adaptive headlamps, and blind spot and lane-departure warning systems are also on offer. 2015 spec Q70L’s receive more accident-avoidance technology with Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Around View Monitor (for 360 views around the car when parking), Backup Collision Intervention to prevent backup accidents, and Forward Emergency Braking to lower the risk of forward collisions.
On the road, the Q70L offers superior comfort, with wonderful seats and hushed, super quiet cabin for all. To sum up the Infiniti Q70L is more than adequate to facing the Germans and British competition in this sector and deserves serious consideration if an extra- roomy. Super luxury class sedan is what you aspire ton. The Q70L doesn’t compromise on sport, finish, and brand name cache. A wonderful car.
