THE Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating   after the suspicious death of a three-year-old Surrey girl.

Surrey RCMP was initially called when the girl was rushed to hospital on Wednesday, February 11.  The child has now succumbed to injuries which led to the initial call for medical assistance.

IHIT is now working with Surrey RCMP  to investigate what led to the little girl’s death.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton said: Any time we investigate a suspicious death, we treat it very seriously. We ask that the public to keep in mind a child has died and her family is now dealing with that death.”
