RYAN William Beauchamp, 29, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of his father, Edward Allen Bezell, who was found dead in his house in the 14000 block of 60 Avenue in Surrey on Tuesday just after 1 p.m. Beauchamp was arrested at the scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said on Wednesday that both the suspect and the victim resided in the home together.
Beauchamp has been remanded and his next court appearance will be on September 3 at Surrey Provincial Court.
This is the 11th investigation that IHIT has taken conduct of in Surrey for 2014.
