Gurjot Dhaliwal, 20, shot dead in Brampton, Ontario

INVESTIGATORS from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau of Ontario’s Peel Regional Police are continuing to investigate the seventh homicide of 2019 and are appealing for witnesses.

On Tuesday, June 18 at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call in the area of Orenda Court and McCallum Court in the City of Brampton. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 20-year-old Gurjot Dhaliwal (see photo) from Brampton, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a trauma centre where he died as a result of his injuries.

Investigators believe there are witnesses that have not had the opportunity to speak with officers about this incident.
