Coquitlam RCMP looking for witnesses to pedestrian collision

ON Tuesday (December 4) at approximately 2:37 p.m., the Coquitlam RCMP received a report of a pedestrian struck by a blue SUV at Linton Street near Como Lake Avenue. The incident is still under investigation, however, at this time, there is no indication that speed or impairment was a factor in the collision. The driver of the SUV remained on scene and is cooperating with the police. As a result of the collision, a 77-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The Coquitlam RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have been in the area of Linton Street near Como Lake Avenue around 2:37 p.m. on December 4 and may have witnessed the incident or have information or dash cam footage that can help investigators.
