CFSEU dismantles organized crime cells in GTA

THE Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) has made over 18 arrests and executed over 25 search warrants following a two year investigation. The enforcement action took place in the early hours of June 2.

CFSEU has dismantled several organized crime cells operating in the GTA that were involved in criminal activity including the importation of drugs, trafficking of firearms and drugs and in some instances, extreme violence and extortion in order to facilitate their criminal activities.

A press conference will be held on Wednesday June 3 at 11 a.m. at the York Regional Police Central Services Building in the Town of Aurora.

RCMP Superintendent Keith Finn, officer-in-charge of the CFSEU, and York Regional Police Inspector Mike Slack, CFSEU’s Operations Officer, will be providing further details on the investigation and arrests.
