BMO Supports South Asian Community with Diwali Celebrations

BMO is rolling out Diwali celebrations with a new promotion to celebrate this year’s festival of lights. Participating BMO branches across Canada will offer new and existing customers a chance to win $10,001 or a 24-carat gold-plated leaf dish.

“BMO has a long history of supporting multi-cultural communities in Canada. This contest is another way to show our commitment and support for the South Asian community and is an exciting way to reward our customers,” said Su McVey, Vice President, BMO Bank of Montreal. “We are happy to celebrate this significant cultural festival and add it to the diverse cultural and community events that BMO supports.”

BMO’s Diwali promotion runs from November 8 to 30, 2012. For every $1,000 deposited into a qualifying savings account, chequing account or BMO Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC), customers will receive one entry into a contest for a chance to win $10,001.
