Bajwa seeks intervention of Shinde for tracing abducted girl of Faridkot

Seeking intervention of the Union Home Minister for tracing the abducted 15 year old minor girl in Faridkot district, Partap Singh Bajwa, Member of Parliament, urged Mr. Shinde to seek a report from the Punjab Governor about the current Law & Order in the state. In a communication to the Home Minister, Bajwa further urged that as the efforts by the State police in tracing the girl is merely an eye wash, the case may be handed over to CBI, if needed, to bring the culprits to book. Bajwa pointed out that the police instead of making sincere efforts to trace the abducted girl started a vilification campaign against the girl and her family. The Badal family including Harsimrat Kaur Badal and local Member Parliament Paramjit Kaur Gulshan did not have the courage to visit and consol the dejected family till date. He said that the common people have completely lost faith in the police and State Administration who are indulging in shallow promises.
