320th Vaisakhi celebrations by Ontario Gurdwaras Committee on May 5

THE 320th Vaisakhi celebrations by the Ontario Gurdwaras Committee takes place on Sunday, May 5.

Vaisakhi is the day Khalsa was created and is a very important day for all Sikhs around the world. Every year over 100,000 Sikhs from across Ontario attend this event.

A Nagar Kirtan will be held on May 5, starting at 12:30 p.m. and wrapping up at 6 p.m.

The parade will start at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Malton, 7280 Airport Road in Mississauga, and conclude at Sikh Spiritual Centre, 9 Carrier Drrive in Etobicoke.

A ceremony will be held between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Malton and between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. at Sikh Spiritual Centre.
