Eight years after the disappearance of Narinder "Ned" Mander, 28, of Richmond, the RCMP on Thursday announced that he was kidnapped and murdered on October 9, 2001. RCMP spokesperson Sgt. WIFE APPEALS TO THE COMMUNITY TO FIND NARINDER MANDER

Narinder “Ned” Mander’s wife, Shamina, is appealing to the Indo-Canadian community to come together and help find her 28-year-old husband, who has been missing since October 9. In an appeal through The VOICE, she said: “He’s just an ordinary, innocent person. This can happen to anybody and we just want people to realize that (if) it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone.”
