PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT WAS SLEEPING ON THE JOB, TOO SLOW TO ACT

Indeed, it seems that the provincial government has been SLEEPING ON THE JOB - and it very conveniently passed on the buck to the federal government because of the October 14 airport death of Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski at the hands of four RCMP officers who Tasered him twice and handled him brutally without making even the slightest effort to try and communicate with him. The RCMP lied about exactly what took place and were exposed when the video of the incident was released under international and Canadian public pressure.

WHY YOU DON"T WANT TO BE A MOUNTIE - AND WHY WE MUST REPLACE THEM IN B.C. WITH OUR OWN POLICE
If you are thinking of joining the RCMP, I suggest you first read this article based on the prestigious Maclean's magazine investigative report - "What's Really Killing the Mounties - Dangerous work. No backup. Vicious bosses. The RCMP is in ruins." - before you make that blunder! There are better police forces to join. [Full Story]

LES SHOULD RESIGN - BEFORE CAMPBELL DUMPS HIM
All members of Gordon Campbell's caucus and any potential future candidates should review the tape of the November 20 question period. Campbell let John Les, Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General, suffer for 20 minutes without offering one word to diminish his pain. Given his abandonment, the honourable thing for Les to do is to immediately resign before Campbell fires him, a fate that will probably be postponed until after adjournment of the fall legislative sitting on November 29. MOVIE ON WIDOWS COLONY EVOKES CRIES FOR JUSTICE AND EDUCATION ABOUT 1984 MASSACRE OF SIKHS
Let us not forget the November 1984 massacre of Sikhs in India following the assassination of then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the lack of justice for the victims more than 23 years later. For change to occur, this part of history must be exposed and solicited more for educational purposes. [Full Story]

CAMPBELL PLAYS ANOTHER CRUEL JOKE ON SURREY'S HEALTH CARE
