It is a real shame that the case of alleged discrimination by the B.C. Veterinary Medical Association against a large group of Indo-Canadian vets is going to take a year in the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal. It is also a shame that the provincial government failed to step in and end this apparent racism and bias. The vets seem to have solid proof of this racism - and they also have the support of the general public that is looking for fairer and more affordable fees to treat their pets. Their clients, mainly white, seem to be very satisfied with both the fees and the treatment their pets receive.
