IT'S TIME TO PUT SENIORS FIRST

The documents show physical and emotional abuse of seniors and a failure to comply with the minimum health and safety regulations. The stories were shocking: the death of an unsupervised resident who had slipped out of her wheelchair and was found with a restraint around her neck; water poured on a senior to get her to remove her clothing; failure to change a senior's clothes that were soaked in urine and individuals going for nearly two weeks without a bath or a shower.
