Here is the incident of racism that I faced in Vancouver Sun back in 1994 that I mentioned in our lead story - "PUTTING SIKHS IN A BAD LIGHT? Editor-in-chief of Vancouver Sun just doesn't get it!" The Executive Committee of the Ross Street Gurdwara deserves to be congratulated for organizing the centennial celebrations of Vancouver's Khalsa Diwan Society. The Society has a very rich history and outstanding religious, social and political achievements to its credit. The role that it played in the independence movement of India, the Ghadar Party and the immigration and settlement of people of Indian origin was extraordinary.

Q. I've been looking for work for a while now, but I'm not having much luck. I check the Job Bank at least once a day, as well as the newspaper's classified section.
