Indo-Canadian faces raft of charges as guns, drugs and cash seized
Abbotsford Police Cst. Casey Vinet said that members of the Municipal Integrated Emergency Response Team (MIERT) and the Abbotsford Police Drug Squad served the search warrant this week after several weeks of investigation into the actives of a home located in the 33500-block of Rainbow Avenue. Once inside, police located a male sleeping in a bedroom of the house with a loaded 9 mm handgun under his pillow. He was taken into custody without incident.

Heroin seized from Surrey man at Vancouver International Airport
The X-ray revealed an anomaly in the bottom of the suitcase. The suitcase was emptied and a second X-ray was administered, which revealed the same flaw. The bag was dismantled and officers found a wooden box built into the suitcase containing two plastic bags of heroin.
