What really angered me over the past decade was the hypocrisy of the federal Liberals when it came to immigration issues. They kept fooling visible minorities with one lie after another, posing as our best friends.

And a month earlier, six weightlifters from the club participated in the Junior National Weightlifting Championship held in Ottawa and Joke Adekola won a gold medal and was declared Best Junior Weightlifter in Canada, while another member, Prabdeep Sanghera, who is just 12 years old and a student of George Greenaway Elementary School, Cloverdale, surprised everyone by winning a silver medal.

So the RCMP have obviously got Kieran and Bornman to agree to testify against Basi and Virk. And this leads to suspicions in the community of racial bias: Why didn't the RCMP use Basi and Virk to get Kieran and Bornman? Who approached whom to make a deal? Who is more culpable? Some of these questions might prove to be TERRIBLY EMBARRASSING for the RCMP as the trial starts next month.

Despite having received 77% of their funding from the business sector, the Liberal Party had the gall to issue a news release which claimed that "Individuals made up a full eighty-two percent of the contributors to the BC Liberal Party in 2005". Of course, the BC Liberal Party wasn't counting dollars when it made that outrageous claim. If corporate and union donations were banned, as they are in Quebec and Manitoba, the Liberals would have a funding crisis.
