As I understand from TransLink, there are about 30,000 properties on the toll representing 26 million square metres of parking space. The owners of the non-residential properties will be expected to pay the parking tax @$1.02 per square metres from the beginning of 2006 and the assessed amount will be appearing in the municipal property tax of 2006.
